Did some class-specific items get introduced based on people contributing money or testing time: probably

Did it impact my experience and take the fun out of 4-6 weeks constant skirmish: not at all

Had a monk decked out in 4 weeks dropping people left and right, would have taken me a year uncontested raiding with nobody to take it out on aspergers99

It's not Everquest, it's not classic, it's been exposed not 1 not 2 not 3 times and it plain old sucks. At least the developers don't vampire all your time just a few weeks which you can obviously afford to sacrifice.

All of these things plus no spread sheets or intergalactic battles. Solid pass!
