Not sure I would call this a "comeback" by CSG, nor the Rustle kills having any relevance to "this rotation in place". If you were getting Dain kills or ST golems, maybe.
Um or there was a dispute amongst your raid force and another force about being summoned. You guys provided some bogus fraps and wouldn't settle on it not being your mob. I'm glad your memory only lasts about the span of one window it makes seeing your meltdown much more enjoyable....

And Yes it's certainly a comeback for CSG, on the other hand it's a step back for you, but it's the nature of the beast. I don't knock you one bit. I'd only recommend you look at a bigger picture. While aligning windows is sweet, to achieve that you should try to enact some type of this is your mob kill it this day etc, do it just once then enact a soft rotation on trak/vp (as just an idea).

Some will say keep doing it but instead of 8-10 weeks why not 3-4 weeks? Once a month or so, each time can re-evaluate the raid entities... otherwise I think most don't care enough now.
