Says the guy with 82 posts. Those of us who have actually spent some time on this forum know that Swish has done a whole lot more than just "start a puzzle thread". Honestly the guy would deserve a medal for everything he's done for Red ... if that was actually a cause worth giving a medal for.

When posting on gaming forums often times people present themselves nothing like they are in the game or even IRL.

Often times, you can group with someone in the game and find them really quite pleasant and enjoyable to chat with. Then you see their posts on the forums and they are nothing like that person in the game you played with.

I think people develop hatred and disdain for others via the forums when it's not justified at all.

I see many people downright hate others, and honestly they don't even know them.

What I notice in games and on their forums is some people really have an inflated sense of importance, and when they feel insulted or questioned by others they instantly hate the offender.

Disagreements and differences in thought should not create hate between people, yet it does.

So I ask, is Swish one of these types who has questioned or "insulted" some who take themselves far too seriously and so he is hated by many of these people?

Or, perhaps Swish is truly an asshole who is worthy of having so much hate aimed at him?

I don't really know. I just know I never seen anything he wrote which made me hate him. His TRYRED posts are a bit annoying, but I can't view those worthy of hating him.

I can only speak for myself when I say the reason I dislike him is that in a community where hours wasted pointlessly is a normal thing, he truly stands above all others with his no life status. He probably has closer to 30k posts since the r & f ones don't count.

So basically it's pity and loathing that I feel for him really. You can't respect someone that you pity.

Swish is hated(by some) because he makes threads like this - obvious flamebait and an opportunity to troll. Most users are too dumb to realize that's his plan. If he'd stick to good threads(puzzle thread, red threads w/gifs, newbie advice) and shut the fuck up about BDA already, he'd be a great poster.

Haters are generally BDA posters or people who hate the thought of trying red server. BDA don't play here anymore so some of them have faded away, and if you haven't yet had the experience I'd still recommend the red server as something a little different to try.

I'd encourage new forum users to build their own opinion of me based on their own interactions either on red or blue (yes, I still log into blue sometimes) rather than accept the rhetoric of jaded forum posters who burnt out long ago and are mad about someone typing words on a forum.
