I don't pretend to know the inner workings of a high end raid guild, but it sounds like people get burnout and quit, then new hungry mouths take their place and the cycle repeats. A day off doesn't need to be the solution but a suggestion, seems like Rustle has a window cutoff for tracking / FTEs that help folks relax, so maybe something similar. Maybe your guild already has some kind of 'step away from the keyboard' policy in place at times, would like to hear it if so. I'm just trying to talk and discuss on the forum, no need to get angry / cynical.

I don't see how a mandatory break from tracking / racing / raiding is such a bad thing, I think it can make guilds stronger in the long run personally. Can be only a few times a month even when only some select crummy mobs are in window.
