There's only like 7 spawn points on the island, if someone's killing them already even if you felt like competing over them there are probably better things to do with your time. Getting ~50% of the spawns is going to be really slow going. On top of that you'll be getting skeleton PHs more often by not allowing any of the gargs to be up to kill them for you. Seems fairly inefficient.

I can't count the number of times I've seen someone claim Gargoyles as a camp, yet 4 of the 7 mobs/ph were still wandering the island. The neckbeard thing to do is block the content from others instead of sharing.

I don't know what's so special about Gargoyles that people think it's a single camp. I don't ever see one person claiming all of the crag spiders in EK (similar in terms of total area and spawn quantity) or all of the sea furies, etc, etc.
