Play what makes you happy. Do not concern yourself about what the "Server Needs". There are enough high level players as it is, many with more alts then I have socks.

The raid scene on P99 is Frustrating at best. So, Ultimately...Play what makes you happy and dont worry about end game results.

I agree with this for new players or players who are easily turned off by playing a class they dislike.

But for min/maxers or players who's goal is to be useful/needed in parties and are willing to learn that class and play it well, then let them do it.

If what makes you happy is being a class that is useful and highly sought, go for it.

Mages are not popular here at high levels. If you want easiest group finding roll tank/cleric/ monk / rogue / chanter/ shaman/ bard
