There was absolutely nothing about the event that people are complaining about that they couldn't have prepared for beforehand. As far as there being too many rare drops from the event, I can tell you that the percentage of the population with those rare items is probably still lower than when those items were first taken out.

Thanks devs, I know me and my group had lots of fun.

People threw huge fits about the implications of the halloween event too. OHHHH MYY GOD I'M 25% LESS SPECIAL in a game i've invested my life into for a year! Major issues with that statement aside, how many of those people still play? Did any of those drops influence the game negatively aside from the reactionary qqing? Nope.

Go to any everlore archived discussion of a gm event. We didn't do anything wrong, it's human nature for people to rub the sand out of their vag in a way that publically externalizes all of the rage they personally didn't get a thing.

I couldn't give less of a shit that I didnt get a drop, I already have several of those items and wasn't stressing over getting a rare or not in the first place. If you can't see the flaw in level 1-5 mobs dropping 50-100kpp++ items in considerable quantity then Im not sure what else to say.

And to reiterate, yet again, I don't care that I didn't get a drop. I wasn't expecting to get one. I just plain and simple thought it was unfair that if you were not a low level killing newbie mobs, it was incredibly unlikely that you would see a drop. I simply thought that 80% of the rare drops going to toons under level 10 was unbalanced and unfair. I sent tells to people who were over level 10 who got a rare because I was generally excited that they beat the odds and got something.

As Pheer implied, if you see nothing wrong with how unbalanced the drops were, then I don't know why you are even reading this thread.

No, he makes perfect sense.

Some of us have hundreds of thousands of platinum worth in items. We don't give a shit about someone else getting them. I've probably given away more in rubicite breastplates' worth than you've gained your entire time here, playing 3x as much as me.

It still doesn't detract from his logic. Surely there is no damage to the economy done :P
