This is why shit needs to be written down and specified for all this loophole shit. It's always been a problem on this server.

When BDA and Taken were first breaking into VP we each lost dragons to Aftermath based on previous rulings that were never spoken about or logged. Taken specifically lost a clean PD because the puller waiter until PD was in LoS at the top of the balcony before jumping instead of just jumping down immediately. Aftermath said it was a stall, referenced some nonsense ruling from back when TMO and IB fought for VP and Sirken swooped in and used that as precedence.

There's nothing in that ruleset saying alt tab jumping isn't legal, just like all the other shit I listed isn't banned either. Both sides are doing this shit, don't play dumb.

No they aren't. This is just the continuing saga of your bias toward TMO and players who were formerly tagged in that guild. It shows a lot with you. The videos of these races were on youtube viewable for anyone to see. In all the videos of those races I saw where people won the races only Hjial was alt+tab jumping. You could see the screen pop in when he did it.

If Detoxx, Mistin and Nalken aren't hiding anything then they should have no problem with making all of the FTE videos they hid this morning public again. Until that happens...

To be fair, there is a valid point to be made about devising new strategies, most of specially when you try to develop a comprehensive rule set. People will reasonably assume that if it is not in the rules it must be ok! That is why you make fewer, more general rules. Intuitively people understand (for the most part) what is and is not acceptable. The more you try to narrow it, the more grey you introduce. The FPS deal is obviously exploiting game mechanics.
