Vaccines are not safe

Vaccines are a good thing. They eliminated many terrible diseases from society, some of which are now sadly making a comeback.

The problems arise when drug companies take shortcuts to increase their own profits. From the CDC website http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/vac-gen/additives.htm:

Chemicals commonly used in the production of vaccines include a suspending fluid (sterile water, saline, or fluids containing protein); preservatives and stabilizers (for example, albumin, phenols, and glycine); and adjuvants or enhancers that help improve the vaccine's effectiveness. Vaccines also may contain very small amounts of the culture material used to grow the virus or bacteria used in the vaccine, such as chicken egg protein.

Emphasis added to the part where they cause a lot trouble, and also make a ton of money. Pumping powerful immuno-stimulants into babies and small children sounds like a crazy fucking idea to anyone with common sense. And it's completely unnecessary; they could remove these from the formulas entirely, but then they would have to compensate by adding more of the disease culture, which is the most expensive part for them to make.

Formaldehyde is used to inactivate bacterial products for toxoid vaccines, (these are vaccines that use an inactive bacterial toxin to produce immunity.) It is also used to kill unwanted viruses and bacteria that might contaminate the vaccine during production. Most formaldehyde is removed from the vaccine before it is packaged...

Thimerosal is a mercury-containing preservative that is added to vials of vaccine that contain more than one dose to prevent contamination and growth of potentially harmful bacteria.
