yeah i can connect, but then get set to +wx and cant join #Project1999.

Ew what a horrible website to get free software from. If you want to connect to the IRC chat room and you use Mozilla, I recommend that you install Mozilla's free extention. Just search for Chatzilla

I use xchat, it works fine. Another popular client is MirC.
