When I think back to EQ on Xegony in 2000, what I remember most was 50 players online across three expansions.
You clearly didn't play xegony then or live under a rock with funky play times.

I was there at launch... many people left the server (free migration) when 7th hammer opened just because of how overcrowded it was... and it remained overcrowded...

were you a bottom feeder on xegony? all mid/high tier zones were always 100% packed...
