you're looking at $6,000 minimum in bolt ons assuming you can make 500 without a bigger turbo (hope u don't mean wheel horsepower,) plus brakes and tires at minimum. it will also have a lot of turbo lag and handle like a boat.

so yeah if your 300zx is already well maintained u can hit 500 crank with $10k into it. i guess. they're pretty cars but that's really about it, you're bragging about a $3000-on-a-good-day money pit.
