This is good advice. If you hunt in places like unrest and mistmoore you will be able to pick up ringmail and small bronze so don't worry so much about filling every slot. If you hunt in these zones there are also items that will drop that no one will likely want like the bloodstone eyepatch, bloodstained tunic, bloodstained mantle, savants cap ect...

Wisdom have very low effect on your manapool at lower levels like someone else mentioned. If you are looking to buy items I would look for slots where it will be hard to find an upgrade on your own like jewelery spots.
