But your right OP, back when SoV was originally released Tantor was more common. So was the wolves.

Should be able to solo here as well. I tried when velious was first released and he summoned and was resistant as hell. As stated in the link below he is suppose to be fixed. I have not found him up since to see if he is truely fixed on p99.

Yeah, I always remember him being soloed on live because he was snareable and didn't summon.

Any tips for spawning him? How much does the tusk go for?

As I stated in the above link I thought he was a set spawn time. But I can't be sure, maybe kill the animals?

As for tusk price, I think it's more of a vanity item. I wouldn't think more than 10-15k. But I ain't a EC bandit, I could very well be wrong on that
