You can drink alcohol at any age in the US, permitted accompanied by parent or legal guardian. You just can't buy it.

That is funny, but there is truth to that. As far as most people are concerned, freedom only matters as far as its application in their lives and lifestyle.

To someone who only wants to drive fast, eat wienerschnitzel, and watch netflix and has no other ambitions in life, Germany's freedom is superior to any other in that respect.

In that way, its a matter of perspective as to what country is the "best".
