Yeah, Kunark comes out soon, but you definitely have time to level up and start raiding.

As a bard, you might find this extremely handy:

Kiting as a bard on p99 doesn't work exactly the same as it did on live. It's more difficult, but still extremely effective. Once I got the hang of it on my bard alt, I managed to kill 15+ mobs in single swarm kites. Others have been able to do even more. The link I gave you has a link at the bottom of the forum thread where Crib gave his guide - someone else posted a video of how he did it which is very helpful to see.
