17 Turkish police officers dead in Ankara according to Ankara's state-run media, Al-Jazeera reports but cannot independently confirm.
The flashpoints are Istanbul, Ankara (the capital for u Americans), and the Bosphorus strait. 2 A. M local time in Turkey, early morning violence expected as the streets are not calming down, and are still flooded wall to wall with protestors in Ankara and Istanbul. Erdogan's location is unknown, heightening tension.
