You don't have to technically follow the queue to order food at McDonalds, or follow any other queue, but it may work a few times, but eventually someone is going to speak up with your very rude behavior.

Good point, this is analogy is highly applicable. We ought to apply it to soccer as well and make sure teams take turns with the ball.
