Some great feedback and resources to investigate. I didn't realize an Iksar could alter their faction enough to make such a big difference. Thank you!
As for my corpse, I had all but given up on it when, out of the blue, a cleric /tell'ed me to ask if I wanted a rez. Of course, I said YES! He was on the run so couldn't stay long enough to help me to the ZL... I died almost as fast as the first time. Those damn skels! Fortunately, I struck up a conversation with a Druid buying 'putrid rib bones' in Qeynos Hills and he offered to get me to FoB safely. Thanks Phooia! (or is it Pooiah?). Anyway, I'm all squared away now, and I don't plan to leave my home continent until I have FD to fall back on. In the meantime, I rolled a rolled a Wood Elf Druid to play with my wife, who opted to play a bard instead. Which leads me to my next question... Where should we go to maximize our chances of getting a group? E. Commons? Crushbone was fun for awhile, but it is often overrun with people power-leveling or farming belts. We tried Blackburrow, but it is usually camped by one or two people farming fangs. Deeper inside is usually free, but too hard without a proper group. We were drawn to P99 because of the large player base, but those in our lvl range seem to be hiding themselves. Thanks again. -Drake | ||

EC orc camps usually have low level groups running if you can't find anything in CB (usually when I'm in there, I see wall and throne room groups). Eventually in the teens you'll be able to go to Unrest, although that zone is always packed.
The best thing to do is arrange a pick up group and move them to the preferred zone. There are a ton of little camps around Faydwer that newbies can do (mino slavers, roamers around the windmill/mino caves, goblin camps in BB, chessboard in BB, etc), so you don't necessarily have to travel all the way to Antonica for some action.
