I'm trying to run P99 on a legacy computer, Titanium installed well and everything seems ok with DOXA's install. However EQEMU Launcher requires .net framework 4 and Windows 2000 doesn't support that. I tried the bypass EQEMU Launcher option Doxa's install gives but nothing loads, only a cmd prompt briefly shows and closes and no error messages are present.
Any ideas? | ||

Run as admin. p99 wont run from EQEMU launcher. You might have to make a titanium.bat file but i never had to so not sure how that works.

Windows 2000 is a server based operating system not a Desktop OS. It may look the same but it isn't. You will need at least Windows XP SP3 or higher. Even Windows 10 works with Titanium and it runs on legacy PC's better than Windows 7.
Server OS's are not designed to run games, especially Windows 2000. I doubt its going to work or work very well at all for you! | ||

Try Win10. You can easily get Win10 working on a machine with 1GB ram, dual core, and intel integrated.

Don't mess with the launcher. Just use a shortcut with "patchme" added to the Target field.

That's good note on Win 10 requirements but I'm trying to keep the OS in the same range as when the game originally launched including the hardware. I did install a custom XP but the computer didn't like it, ran really laggy. The NL version of XP I had ran rather smooth though but its in NL. I guess I'll just roll the computer back to 98 or further back to 95. I do miss playing Tie Fighter...
