Why do we try to improve anything in life? Gee, let's think about this for a second.

The game sucks but it doesn't have to. It's an inherently modifiable entity and the only thing preventing it from being better is this overriding defunct idea of "Classic". There's no other game out there right now that offers the opportunity to implement the kind of MMO system I'd want to play and would have the playerbase to support it. If some game magically came along that did have what I wanted then I'd obviously play it. For now, p99 is the only possibility of that happening.

Again, they already have their hard-coded classic Blue server. They've been very open to making various changes to the Red server and since the server's population is so terrible again, and has historically almost always been terrible while adhering to this idea of "classic Red EQ", I would hope they realize it's time to start implementing more big changes. If it's a question of taking time to code then just bring in volunteers to help. I would put some time into it.

Sounds good to me. Wondering why you Empire guys hate on him. Seems like a good egg.
