league's business model is directly at odds with it being a decent competitive game. Makes money on releasing deliberately unbalanced champs. Not to mention the sweeping rebalances and nerfs constantly. Practicing doesn't make you better at the basic mechanics of the game so much as making you more comfortable with this week's balance.

why anyone would ever consider playing a game like that competitively is completely beyond me. The only skill or practice that matters is your playtime during the last 3 months. Game is for chimp-level IQs if you arent playing it as a party game you can actually include gurlgaymers in at a lan.

Good thing the ban system takes care of that, rendering your 1 OP champ per patch cycle absolutely meaningless in the competitive scene.

Every champ gets tuned down within 2 months. If not, oh well. The ban coverage is huge.
