It really wouldn't matter what the spawn mechanic was on live. They customized a spawn mechanic for a few rare spawns in order to keep them rare (ie: Quillmane).

Seeing as how large the zone is, how many mobs there are, with various spawn times, triggers, placeholders, roamers/static mobs, not being able to track the entire zone at once, AND combine all that with the fact that nobody has actively been trying to crack the secret to spawning AC in South Karana is reason enough as to why nobody knows how to do it.

Nagafen also spawns in butcherblock, and vox spawns in East commonlands. its just SUPER rare guys! so super rare that it never once happened and wont ever happen because its a load of shit.

Im going to retort back to my earlier statement. this game is 11 years old, if it were true there would be documentation. (granted the jboot quest is a little younger than that because jboots used to be a drop off najena.) during that time someone would have said "oh gee golly, theres the ancient cyclops in SK...SCREENSHOT!" and then posted it to any number of EQ database dedicated sites. but no, nothing, just a bunch of unsubstantiated rumors.

When someone finds a screenshot that doesnt look like it was edited in MSPaint by someone missing chromosomes then i might concede this. Even a link to a EQ site would work. Until then GL on getting your AC ring in SK lulz

Even with quillmane having the convoluted spawn mechanic that it does have, you would still see quillmane up at random times. No matter how intricate the spawn mechanic is, SK is too well trafficked to not have any reports or screenshots of the AC walking around.

GL on naggy BB spawn, and Vox EC spawn, i hear they are only lvl 5 and drop their entire loot table.
