I think what they meant is that whoever was controlling the Scout was assisting in the piles, thus Scout was assisting. I know in our first few wars, we just had whoever was turnin guy sit out the fight entirely before we knew that camping him off was an option.

^ Yes, Kanem was tanking away to earn that ring so the scout was in the fray and getting hit by AEs from CSG.

By third wave I think people refrained from AEs entirely, which seemed to work because I only chased him down once with a CSG enchanter after I joined during the third wave. He seems to flee somewhere above the usual 20% hp because he was running around at 21% at one point. Once mem-blurred, he returns to the controller and heals up.

For next time, definitely keep an eye on that because if he ends up where giants are popping because he's at low health, it's over. /captainobvious

I did notice a bit of a disarray with kiting the priests and people giving false alarms about spawns at least once when it was just them running around near the river. You guys managed to hold it together to get Narandi, though. Again, nice job!
