There is a problem with bind casting time, and bind refresh timer. If you have 10 dorfs reaching to your checkpoint within 3 seconds, how are you going to handle the bind situation, to let it not be affected?

Those with SSD hard drives will win those without, due to zone loading speed, so that's another consideration for you....

@ the binding problem. That's a legitimate concern, as a result, I intend to have people with me helping me bind if the need arises. It will be on a first come, first serve basis.

With the zoning problem, not much I can do about that.

The race isn't just about loading faster. If you have a SSD it doesn't make you invis to Krag Chicks [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] While it would give them some advantage, I dont think it would take away from the novelty or the fun of the event.

I think the bind thing would be be solved as, hey if you get there first and want to have that security if you die in LFay go for it, but the only requirement would be to Hail the druid to make sure you passed, not actaully get a bind. Those who just hail and run dont have to spend the time there but take the gamble of dying and being back in Kaladim.

Only other thing I suggest is having somebody turn on PVP for those level ones! Get some melee action going on. Either that or make everybody drink a stack of white wine [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
