problem with open carry is a lot of people aren't respecting the law.

the law says you cant keep it fully loaded or chambered in most open carry areas. the morons haven't gotten this yet and will keep it racked.

there was a guy walking around Detroit with a racked AR-15. That's just really shitty behavior. There is no legit reason to rack anything.

Can you translate that for someone who lives in a country with gun laws and any time someone gets shot (singular) it makes news.

Actually on the topic of gun laws etc. I was talking to an American a few months back and he was saying in his state if someone murders more than 3-4 members of their own family with a gun it's not reported as a "mass" shooting because theres alot of crazy people going around blowing the heads off their family members and its fucking up the gun lobbyists stats.

last year they successfully lobbied my state to continue to allow gun sales on facebook. theres like 50 local facebook groups you can buy an unregistered firearm on. surprised i've made it so long without getting murdered or at least hit by some crossfire/ricochet.

That's actually incorrect when referring to a 1911 style auto. Cocked and locked is the preferred method for most of your "experienced veteran Peace Officers". There have been reports of officers losing there cocked and locked 1911 colts off the side of a building and the gun didn't even discharge. In a tactical sense for someone experienced in the use of the 1911, cocked and locked is the preferred carry method.
