This is what I like to call the "Revolutionary's Optimism". They could wipe, and this "equal footing" would be gone in no time. I'm not uber. I was for a time in Live. I don't want to be uber here. You and I my friend... we're time starved power gamers. I agree with your sentiment, and there is certainly merit in the perspective of "I got here late but I'm just as good". However, in my experience, this sort of talk is the territory of the sour-grapes crowd.

They wipe the server and I guarantee that the top 10% with the knowhow and the time will be the top 10% by any measurable means three months from now if they keep playing.

You do make good points which I feel are legitimate. IMO though after a wipe the number of people at the top would be reduced dramatically yes some would powerlevel back to 50 in no time, but alot would not and the limited budge room at the top would be a little larger. I don't feel like im "good" at the game and deserve better loots, I just want to experience some of the stuff that is being choked out for everyone else by the same 25 people farming for phat "Kunark loots".

Oh I can totally see that side of the coin too. I've been in that position though, and the only real way to progress was to go through the hardcore system. That's how many folks are going to finally get a slice of the endgame, wipe or not.

Lol i never advocated a server wipe to 'even out the server', much less because i'm missing any 'phat lewtz'.

I'm just acknowledging the fact that the only real fun had in this game is the original mad levelling scamper when no one has anything.

51-60 + Kunark is still fun, too, don't get me wrong.

After all the work and long hours lvling to 32, i would never play on this server again if they chose to hit the reset button on me and make me start from scratch again. my fury would be monstrous thus i would simply quit and wait for star wars the old republic. hehe
