Actually there are some Blue players that are doing pretty well on Red atm. Xepiz, Xatmakin, Faz(Mistie) and a few others I know of offhand. Now if you mean 'blue guilds had no chance...' I might buy that as a whole the deck was stacked well against TMO both by members, reputation, and history on P99 overall.

Those guys are all trash dumpsters. Joining the best guild and showing up to every raid and getting decked out doesn't make you good.

He just stated that no blue player had a chance of starting out on red.

They are friends of mine so I am glad to see them getting gear and having fun which is what online games are about. They are also getting to see end game content. They haven't quit, they haven't come here crying that the server is unfair and that the game isn't fun for them. They also haven't come here abusing others because they don't fit where they think gamers should. So to me they are succeeding on Red because in the end Red99 may be a pvp server but that isn't all its about.

so what do you want them to do, join the world guild and show up to every raid not getting decked out? how long do you have to do that before you've earned the right to guilt-free pixels?

No, my point was you have to earn it. Simply showing up to raids 20 hours a week does not make you good.
