After searching more I found "You are currently not allowed to login to the server because this IP has a temporary block on it. Please try again later.
Means that you attempted to log in multiple times from the same IP. Just wait a bit and it'll go away."
Sorry for not seeing this sooner!
On a side note... 2 hours is a bit excessive of a lock out for exiting, making a change, then coming back in... especially when there is so much you (I) can easily screw up here
