Are you trying to ask, "What is the functional foundation of progressivism?" This is an odd thing to say, since I was making a joke about how conservative politicians use platitudes about liberty and freedom (i.e. ostensible foundation), while simultaneously relying on people's selfishness and prejudice to garner real support (i.e. functional foundation). I think you may be under-equipped to continue this exchange, no? It's like talking to high-school kids on this forum...

No, I'm asking what the progressive foundations yield. What does the world look like when humans operate on those ideals?

But it seems you've answered my question for me. They turn out to be self-indulgent dicks who contribute little to nothing to society. They sit, at 29, in basements collecting food stamps while working part time jobs complaining about those of us who succeed in life.

You claim concepts like liberty are mere political platitudes. That is the most cynical and ungrateful shit I've ever heard. Look at the life you lead!

I think you might be under-equipped for life. Grow a pair instead of eternally being a victim.

And by the way, from all of us who pay your way, you're fucking welcome.

Since you don't know what the rest of the world is like, I guess I will have to use the power of raw data to educate you. Please do not respond until you can define the Lorenz curve.
Winning arguments is simultaneously easy and hard when one side has no grip on reality.
