I'm gonna give it a go during the open beta next week, but I'm afraid the world and races are just devoid of any soul. The quests lack depth, the combat system seems to be a thousand flavors of press 1+2 and even though the graphics ain't ugly, it's not like I dig them either.

Now I feel like popping in King of Dragon Pass though..

The only reason I have time for MMOs to begin with is that I already know everything about the only MMO i play, P99/EverQuest so every minute I'm on I can be productive.

I definitely do not have the time nor will to adapt to a brand new game, as much as I'd like to experience an MMO with a modern feel. /wave Vanguard

I am glad to see that you are going to give it a try. However, I find what you are saying hilarious. It lacks quest depth, EQ Classic doesn't have that many quests and the quests it does have don't really have depth. That's what you do when you a play a game is press combination's of buttons to do shit, LOL. EQ classic is different, where it's a slower form of combat but don't make ether one any better or worse. It just depends on your taste. Yes, the graphics are up to date but I hope they come out with better and more armor designs.

All I will do is simply vote and smile [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] because I think the game might be successful to some but not for others who want real depth. There may be depth in the graphics/polish, and soul system of the game but thats all Im seeing. Ive heard level 30+ players complain about the same things I have with the game. They nerfed open world pvp ON pvp servers partly I think to the whiners. And the racials are a joke. Its just not for me. Also at least for the first 10-12 levels I saw on both Guardian and Defiant the quests are exactly the same except only slightly modified I think thats pretty cheap.

Thank you for your vote. The soul and class system is everything. You can make a rouge and be an assassin. Then you can change rolls out of combat and be a marksman. You can also buy additional roles. So you can make a Cleric and play all the sub classes, this si the same for every class. Unlike most MMOs where you have to reroll and get sick of running the same content again that you just played. One of the reasons why people buy and sell toons so much on this server as it takes time to do exactly that. What exactly did they nerf in PVP open world. Obviously what you are saying some one has told you and you are just repeating a generic comment and have no idea what you are talking about.

perhaps in the future, definitely not on release..really depends on how the feedback from open world pvp and endgame raid content turns out

I am having a good time during the beta though, my pvp pyro spec is kind of a wrecking ball
