Mostly this, though Trump's life record is largely Democratic and I've thought from the get go that his run was only aimed at helping Hillary get elected. Will be interesting to see what happens if Bloomberg jumps in the race though.

Most of his supporters choose to ignore that though because he's voicing their frustrations. It's the same reason Democrats are so opposed to him, he's saying things they despise. Wizard's First Rule yeah?

first rule may be stupidity, but rules 2-99 are 'rape'. Goodkind fucking sucks.

1. No, the first is "People will believe a lie because they want it to be true, or because they are afraid it might be true." Whether you like Goodkind or not, the statement is spot on.

2. There aren't that many rules and none of them are rape. Sorry.

3. What's not to like about Goodkind? The man is a pillar of reason.

Dude I know. I loved the first book but looking back most of the others were rape erotica. Goodkinds writing is rapey as heck, that's all. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Yeah, rape does seem to be a recurring theme, though I think it is aimed more at disturbing the reader, something he is good at. Richard's first battle with the SoT, Darken Rahl in general and Richard's half brother all come to mind as examples of disturbing content that did not involve rape. Oh and the SoL method for stealing wizard powers.

So you feel like trump is to hillary as romney was to obama?

I felt that way about omalley and sanders at first. He came in, praised bernie and then dropped out.

I think you might be right. The government has already decided hillary is gonna get it, but they're throwing people like cruz into the mix to make people assume that voters did the lesser of two evils thing.
Yep, Hillary is making her way to the White House whether the people agree or not. Last night's debate is a perfect example. Bernie made nothing but substantive points the whole debate while Hillary mostly stood there Trumping with word salads effectively saying "I'd do that too... But better *smirk*" and the audience / commentators just lapped it up.
