This depends on what you qualify as blocking AEs.

EverQuest code requires you be in the same fluid medium as your target to cast on them and the reverse for AEs is true.

If you have the dragon positioned underwater while you're on land, it's AEs shouldn't hit you. However your spells won't hit the dragon generally also. It's also possible Z Axis differences may allow you to dodge an AE by standing on the slants of the ravine while the dragon is bellow you. However both of these seem sort of shady IMO.

This requires you pull the dragons away from their spawn out into the water, many of which CH and Gate which isn't too terrible practical anyways.

What's up Maurice.

Most skilled player to ever grace this server.
Hey Jemaine.

Same old, same old. Work with a little bit of single player games and Nostalrius (WoW) to the side. I'll probably no life some Diablo when I get a day or two off.

Solid idea, but not practical as you said for a lot of these dragons. Doesn't help that there's a billion other things on CoV faction if you plan on pulling it. You could probably find a safe path for this, but I haven't looked into it all that much.

Slow is the most stupidly overpowered ability in game, right next to charm.

Without those two things none of these are possible.

I believe Svenn has solo'd stomples which is pretty impressive (even with clickies he's a tough sob to do alone)
CLERICS can do it aswell!
I died on my first attempt during enrage but I got it on 2nd one. I used a total of 83 peridots and 7 charges on strings for both attempt. But at the end it all worth if even tho I didn't get a single card. The soulfire was ready to click on 2nd attempt but it wasnt required.
Pretty close and fun fight!

Out of curiousity, why the Teriling pet over a T1 Grenn/Brenn? Just for less breaks?

Ouch that's a lot of peridots using Donals Legs. You need to get a Hoshkar staff!

I havent had much practice with strings in PoM so I figured Teriling would be safer and good enough. I was closer than I expected, maybe I'll try Grenn/Brenn next time.

And I do have Hoshkar Staff. I just have the nerfed version (the one that shouldn't be in game) that was dropping in early days of VP. I do have a petition going for like 2 years, but I may have bumped it a bit too much. I guess I can just wait now since thread is locked.

Grats Liia! I hope in a few more months we'll get a few examples and we can maybe get started with a Velious list!
