Default Sacrifice at level 60?

I've heard conflicting things. Can you sacrifice at level 60 or do you have to delevel to 59, sac, and then rez back up the non-sac corpses?

My bard is capped xp and would like to use some of that productively.

Lame ... is that level 60 opt out a non-classic p99 thing to stop people from max-xp aoeing chardok?

I just want a reason to play my bard without poop-socking raid stuff.

Die a bunch of times to get to 59. Get sacrificed a few times. Rez unsaced corpses to barely ding 60

Classic and well thought out feature for Kunark/Velious era.

The amount of EE during classic era would have been overwhelming if they allowed 60s to keep maxing out and easily make EE especially given the time constraints between expansions, overcrowding of dungeons, and slower exp gains back in the day.

at max level in 60 you can sac yourself 7-8 times and still get back to 60 from rezzing the delevel corpses.. Easiest way of doing this is going to WFP gates and binding at Ping and then just attacking the soldiers to die. Go down to 59. Sac 7-8 times then rez the old corpses.
