Veloci was a monk owned by Supremacy at some point, how is this toon not banned for RMT?

They don't ban all accounts of the rmt'er just the one involved in the actual transactions.
They even nowadays let you recreate the same chars with the banned char names..
So worst thing that happens if you rmt is you lose your gear and have to start at Lev one but with plenty of friends you are back at 60 and geared within two weeks.

All of this is inaccurate. All of the RMT sellers accounts are banned. A buyers account is banned, and all of his/her accounts are combed through to check if an item or plat has passed through. If it has, they are banned. People try to be slick and create throw away accounts to buy plat/items, pass it on to their main accounts, and delete the original character. Logs are never deleted, and we see it all. We are always watching.

Also, afaik, we have never allowed someone to keep a name that was previously banned, because that requires us to unban your account so that individual can log in and delete their character. The more you know

Why not just delete permabanned accounts so that the names can be used again? Of the million characters created on p99, probably 900,000 are banned and all those names are locked up and unusable.
