Single incident suspensions are dumb. Without a coded in LNS system (which will never happen) then reliance on the chat system is required.

Too many ways to miss an LNS call and get a violation. I think some sort of malicious intent should be proven i.e. bind camping, ignoring multiple /t /ooc /shout /say notifications.

Killing nakeds is usually just padding KDR unless it's a zone control battle or a fight for a merb, anyway.

I personally miss the days of player - enforce LNS. I will sit at your corpse until you LNS out of the zone, once you loot your shit if you're not headed for the zl I'm hitting you until you start moving. Live was p goog about this in Kunark era iirc.

Food for thought - this thread is an exercise in pointlessness if you're refusing to engage with leaders of a guild that speak for what you call 80% of the server population.

GM's will say it again and again: If you want the rules to change, it has to be a unanimous (or a landslide majority) decision amongst the players. I think with two years of GMs saying that repeatedly, we can agree that's probably the truth, as it's still never happened - not once.

Some free pointers:

1. No one else matters in this discussion but the leaders of each guild
2. Use PMs
3. You, Tune, as a spokesman for this issue isn't the best idea.
4. If you want a real change, you will be engaging with Empire leaders at some point (yes, that includes Colgate).
5. Sektor, what is an escape goat?
6. If any of this is directed at anyone but leaders, you're wasting your time.

I fully expect there to be no PMs sent to one another, given that everyone now understands what must be done to change the server.
