yeah even with his constant crashes and LD's he's better than most players on this server when it comes to PVP. he's a good rogue, and easily among the top players of the other classes he plays.

kinda lame how you have to spend hundreds of dollars on a solid state to remain competitive in a 20 year old game.. but i guess there's some hidden advantages to loading slow in mass pvp. the unpredictability of when you're going to pop up on the other side can often save your ass because in those few seconds the other force has switched targets giving you time to get a heal. right now i'm stuck on a shitty laptop that doesn't support enough memory to ramdisc myself, but it can be really advantageous to have two installs of EQ, one that loads quick and one that loads slow in PVP. If you're known as a fast loader, then suddenly start zoning slowly you can often trick players into thinking you plugged giving you the jump.
