You don't like freedom of speech/expression? Get the fuck out.
I am saying I don't stomp all over snakes and then cry victim when I get bit.

It seems many people supporting the "satire" of Islam under the free speech argument don't have any revered religious icons in their own lives (Atheists, Agnostics, Nihilists). This does not surprise me. As "Free speech" reeks of a sheltered Western Orientalist argument for these non-religious folks. And it sounds ridiculous.

Satire was traditionally reserved for public figures and matters of government. Wholesale bashing and slandering of a religion makes free speech look bad. Just like the criminal who is using free speech as his defense after making vicious felony threats. Bad bad bad.

You need to respect some things in life.

If it happened in Saudi Arabia you *might* have a point. However it didn't, it happened in France, a western nation that has western values. Values that millions have sacrificed their lives to maintain.

You wouldn't happen to be a university student would you?

I pity you that you actually think there should be exceptions where one of the two most important pillars of all modern society are concerned.

Disagree. That is their culture; in a Muslim nation they can do as they wish. If they are going to emigrate to the West, they need to embrace liberalism, free speech, free markets, democracy, etc.
