Some levels of the summon seem to require 1, some 2. Not sure if the same spell sometimes takes 1 and sometimes takes 2. Pretty sure they never take more than 2.

And even if they did, I had 36 bonechips after my 2 pet summons, and then cast no more spells that are supposed to use bonechips. Where did those other 3 go? [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Figured it out. Was using numb the dead (the level 4, undead-only pacify), which apparently uses 1 bonechip per cast.

In the process though, I've learned that a lull whose description says it has a level cap actually is working on NPCs above the level cap.
