Think a better question is why would you want to overclock it? Your system isnt very high end and i would think the 4gb of ram you have compared to your CPU. Overclocking your CPU if its not the bottleneck for gaming or whatever else your doing is kinda pointless.

there is 8gb, yes its being recognized. why not overclock it if it has the capability? its an old piece of junk computer, its getting replaced eventually anyway, why not learn how to do it just for the sake of learning how to do it?
