Default How it worked for me...

I also do not quite understand. I recently installed this successfully. The issues I ran into are as follows:

For some reason, when I clicked Launch Titanium within the installation directory, it did not work (some message concerning eqgame.ex). The suggestion I found on the forum was rather vague. However, when I created a shortcut of Launch Titanium on my desktop, it ran like a champ.

I believe that EQ cannot run in full screen (as the monitors from this time period were square shaped as opposed to wide screen). Be prepared for a square screen.

Nektulous forrect was crashing for me... I believe that there is a solution in the forums... renaming Nektulos.eqg to Nektulos.old.

During the deleting process... I recall one of the files they said to delete (forget which) had two existing versions. The only difference was one was capitalized and the other not. In their instructions, you should delete files that are exactly capitalized as they in the instructions.

I am far from a computer genius, but I was able to get it to work. If none of this helps you, then you should describe what occurs step by step as you try to start EQ. This is because your question hardly helps guide the people that can help you.
