Hate:

One of the best thrills ive had is nabbing the book solo in a fully spawned hate.

Take your time, know that both the liches and scorn banshees (female zombie models) can see you if they are facing you. Also, go up naked with an insta-cast gate (I was ballsy and used a 10 second cast thurgadin potion).

Worst case scenario you die and lose a little bit of xp.

Next, you can basically duo Renux with any high level snare kiter (I did it with a 57 druid).

General:

Guilds are farming him fairly often. If you are willing to part with looting rights to the edge of the nightwalker sword then they should be willing to spawn and kill an extra general for you.

Not only is this the best way to do it, but its actually much more fun then doing it with a raid that just clears for you.

You will feel like a true rogue if you accomplish it this way.

I second this. WC Cap (Leatherfoot Raider Skullcap) is questable or 450p and totally worth its weight in plat beyond it's Hate use, as long as you keep it recharged.

I was lucky enough to have entrance to Hate clear when I did it, but I've known Rogues that have done this when the entrance is not clear so I imagine you can hide/sneak before aggro. (Double check on this before you attempt it as I said, I didn't have to)

Know any guild in particular? I had an off the cuff mention of this to me before but I can't remember the guild.

Maybe have the name of a member that might work with me to set this up?
