That's tempting to do, to get banked guts so you can just MQ them to future bards and grind out all your Trak's you will need in a week or two.

But honestly I could see UDB sitting up for a few hours at a time after the first month or two of bards who have scales already contesting it
This is my hope.

But RF is still a mess.

You need 2-3 groups to come to Sebilis every day to kill it... Not the Donals cleric and monk that would duo Ragefire. 40k is vastly overestimating the value of Trak drops. Manna Robe, maybe Donal's... And that's it. The rest of the BPs are running like 15-25k. It's only going to get worse as more get Vindi BPs / Velious BPs too. Those BPs are okay twink BPs (but fungi better) but that's about it. Most of the clickies are meh.

You have to buy the scales yourself if you're buying Trak guts MQ from above individuals. In which case you can likely just camp the Trakanon yourself.

I expect due to the location (requiring CotH or a crawl) + harder dragon requiring more people you won't see this too perma farmed.

As I said, I can see us parking out toons for a week and going after 4-5 UDBs and getting every bard main set on that part of the epic then work on dragon scales.

Ahh. I thought the other BPs were still moving for real money.

Like I said, I HOPE that these things don't just get farmed, but literally everything else on this server is hehe.

The BPs are way down in value and dropping quickly, most do not hold value with Velious out. As far as I can tell, its also a full-fledged Trakanon. You aren't duoing the dragon kill for the BP. Banking some guts, maybe, but again, that's what an agreement would sort out, at least until the initial backlog is dealt with then he can go FFA like Ragefire did.

Not exactly.

Bard version Trakanon should not have his poison AE.

He should lifetap and banish however.

I thought this at first, but found evidence that he still used his AoE.

Heh, Trak right now barely fires his AoE since is too busy casting spells.

When you hand the lute to UDB, he gives it right back.

You only need 1 lute.

Unless something has changed, there's no reason a bard who already has his or her epic couldn't go through the epic quest again to get another lute and then farm UDB trak forever with that one lute.

1 lute prolly costs ~100k.

1 trak expected value ~40k + whatever you sell the loot rights to the guts for. Lets say 50k.

So you only made 90k on your first trak. But you still have your lute. So you can do UDB again next week. Another ~90k. Spend 100k, get 180k. ROI looks pretty okay. Lets see if it works again.

Get another UDB. Get another 90k. Now you have 270k and you've still only spent 100k.

Am I missing where the return starts to suck?
He hands it back??

Lowered his mana regen, that should help, pending update.

So much good stuff in this thread.

Can't tell if you're joking.

Yes. He hands the exact same item you hand to him right back to you. You hand him the lute in order to trigger trakanon, but you still need to lute to complete the epic.

I assume the only reason it requires the lute is to make sure only a bard looking for the trak guts could spawn trakanon.
