Before deleting the game from my computer I found the first person from a guild I recongnized and gave my items/account away. I guess it's unfortunate that I gave it to Oleris. Some other lucky guy would be enjoying my hiero cloak, trains crown, skyshrine BP/legs and everything else.

Sounds weird that you wouldn't wait until a friend from your friends list logged in to give away your account, but to each their own.

So what happened here? I saw on the HK forums today (I was a member for a short time before the mass exodus) some numerous officers are missing items off of their accounts. Who stole those items ? Why are bans going out to numerous people who (seemingly) had nothing to do with it (like Bassman)?

When I first read this thread I thought it would be that the many leaders / officers who quit sold all their items off for cash, but it doesn't appear to be that way. Seems more like someone had lots of log in info and went to town.

I had little time nor patience to seek out someone I knew. All I wanted to do was remove all the games I don't play anymore and move on. It baffles me that this even happened because what logic is there in the decision to ban someone who gives their entire account away with everything on it? Furthermore how is that RMT? And why would you report someone for that? What the fuck? I walked up to Oleris at SF ramp and asked him if he wanted it and he said "that would be nice". Why not just tell me to fuck off?

I think this just goes with the normal set of standard where someone at HK gets banned wrongfully and everyone they traded with gets banned too. And after spending hours dealing with petitions to get unbanned it's just chalked up as a false positive. So glad I'm done with this place.
