Complete healing would essentially serve as a fountain of youth. Age related degeneration unlike sexual maturation is the result of cumulative error and damage from the environment so a complete healing would restore youthfulness. You might just need rhinoplasty every 80 or so years....

As for gate, don't forget the message you receive when the bind affinity spell is cast on you. It says you develop an affinity for this place. With that in mind I think it is very likely gate would take most people to their homes, work place, favorite shopping/eating establishment, etc.: the place that means the most to you. Consider where your ghost would be most likely to haunt and that is where the gate spell would take you.
