Source: in Derubs post, he says the total exp bonus in full grp is 290%. If we subtract the server bonus, thats 240%/6 = 40% per group member, including the group leader.

That's a good question. I'm not entirely sure, but based on how it is worded it seems to imply that the 40% bonus isn't applied unless there is a group present. I could probably test this by killing a white solo on blue vs. on red and see if the difference is 50% or 90%. Will report back when I've had a chance to do that.
