this reminds me of that time lite posted the tell of "an empire member" that he actually wrote and sent to himself in game, praising himself for what he was doing in azrael and for struggling to keep the server red

Could he not have done it by ghosting? You can remove any doors with a texture mod (can't click doors while ghosting I think but it's been a few years for me) and if you have the right tool you can disrupt your connection and walk there, no?
