So by this, does that mean that if Rogean ever deemed that certain mobs/zones were acceptable to be in a c/r/ffa rotation again that BDA would be willing/interested in going back to a rotation in R or stay in C.


This is not a question with any relevance to the current raid scene. I'm just curious if you think that with the VP and high value velious targets you guys have gotten recently that you would be strong enough to compete and do well if there was a class C again.

The end goal for every guild is the same right? Everyone wants to hit NToV dragons, First Brood Dragons, Tormax/Statue/AoW, Tunare, and Sleepers. That's the relevant Velious content for a top tier raider.

Currently only Rampage is getting that content on a regular basis. Forsaken has a few NToV kills from the first couple weeks but they've been mostly quiet since and it looks like they're going to try and reboot through dragon faction (they've been in HoT a few times) No one close to Rampage when you look at numbers, mobilization, and strategy. In a race they're going to win 95% of the time currently. Now that content is doable by a large portion of the guilds on this server assuming great turnout and perfect conditions, but at 5am Monday morning will you have 6 clerics and 3 warriors with a strong DPS turnout for Tormax? Rampage sure as fuck will.

That sounds an awful lot like Kunark doesn't it? We can "kill" the content but need the right opportunity. The season changed, but things really haven't changed. The requirement to even attempt the top tier content is going to be even higher than Kunark because you'll need more people to get the job done.

So to answer your question, I don't know yet. I know BDA has a plan and right now we're still in the early stages of Velious, we definitely need to get stronger if we want to go head to head with Rampage. So we haven't jumped to NToV targets aside from picking off the occasional Ikiatar or Eashen, and the city leaders have been spawning at times when BDA won't have the firepower to contest them. Also, it would depend on what mobs would be walled off to class C. Would it just be Sleepers? Because if so ya we'd still be class R just like any guild not named Rampage.
