Yelinak seems by far the most messed up TBH
no way it should drop just 1 item + the 100% drops should be at least 2 + head + neck My giant faction guild farmed Yelinak every week - I dont recall ever being comically disappointed that he only dropped one item after a kill bc I certainly would have weaved that tale into my usual nostalgic anecdotes. The heads went all our MTs as did the necks for keys. I was only interested in the Ring/earring off him and recall one time losing the roll on the 'ring' then thought 'its ok I can still win the nice earring that dropped maybe'. Granted, there were no items links back then which I think plays a major role in how we are remembering this shit. Without the ability to see the full corpse link after the kill - there was not a whole lot of interest in getting everything immediately listed out let alone the hassle of it all. Many people did not know all the stats of everything - nor was there voice chat......such immersion.

legacy of steel archives indicate that vulak could drop just 2 items. I suspect 3-4 was more likely, though.

The drops should really be increased (even if not classic) to cater to the new age of 100+ zerg guilds. We simply don't have the skill guilds did back in 1999. We have been playing wow for like 5 years and challenges are pretty scary.

Warders are dropping much more then two items. I assume Tunare will as well. The issue is Vulak is only dropping two items very very frequently when it should be rare for it to happen.

This is why red needs to be on its own forum. Too many individuals cannot be civil, especially with the individuals who help to make classic happen.
To the Devs: There are currently roaming flurry drakes which roam through the 2 safe spots listed on the map (in the hallway going North/South to the Triplets and at the bend in the hallway going East to the Duo/Exit) making these areas not safe on P99. This is not classic. Evidence posted in these threads: http://www.project1999.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=205328 http://www.project1999.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=182194 The evidence confirms via posts on PoM boards, Cleric boards and LoS front page updates, that during Velious these locations were safe to CotH to with no roamer and safe to AFK at for several hours with no roamer. Also there is a patch note quoted from just after Luclin launch confirming that certain locations in NToV would no longer be safe due to additional new mobs. If only people could be more civil and less douchey when bringing these non-classic issues up. Maybe the Devs would be more inclined to spend their free time making these fixes.
