less emphasis on gaining xp solely from solo questing and more focus on hunting parties. could never get into wow for that reason. also really nostalgic sinse i played when i was a lad.

You couldn't get into WoW because none of the classes in it are basically forced into grouping in order to level up?

I mean, honestly, that's what leveling in early EQ was/is. There is no more "focus" on grouping than on soloing... it's just that most of the classes in the game are terrible at soloing.

got it backwards my friend. i like how in EQ you group together to hunt mobs, where as on the contrary in wow you spend most of your time solo questing unless your running an instance

Reason to play Everquest classic:

1.to much time on your hands.
2.its overall the best MMO ever made (might not have the best grafic, but the game play is awsome)
3.to much time on your hands.
4.can paly with old friends you havent played MMOs with for the past 8-10 years again.
5.to much time on your hands.
